
Our Culinary Approach
Our story begins long before Altea existed. It starts in our family kitchen with the smell of warm dough, the sound of pans sizzling, and a mother who put her whole heart into every meal she made. Back home she ran a burger shop, a pizzeria, and a bakery. When we moved to Australia she never had the chance to show her gift again.
Altea Catering is our way of bringing her talent back to life and sharing the food that shaped our childhood. We make as much as we can by hand and we choose ingredients with purpose.
Our meats come from local farms near Canberra, where we know how the animals are raised and what goes into the land. Many of the things we use are homemade instead of pulled from a supermarket shelf, because we want our food to be real and natural.
In a time when many meals are made cheaply and filled with ingredients no one can pronounce, we choose a different path. We pay more for produce that is cleaner and better for the body because we believe people deserve that choice.
We hope every bite reminds you that food can be comforting, nourishing, and made with genuine care for the people who eat it.
